YHQ got in an accident while being chased by the enemies. In order for YHQ to get away, XY sacrificed himself. The novel was morbid, it was detailed.
He was tortured. He had deep stab wounds and internal hemorrhage because he was kicked around.
The enemy’s general ordered a foot soldier to bury him ALIVE. Thankfully, the soldier was the one he saved (see previous chapters, remember he saved a war soldier? That’s him) so that soldier pay him back by saving his life and bringing him back to his shifu’s clinic.
