the fact that you find my comment "toxic" compared to what the story is portraying is disgusting. do you find rape and abusive stories romantic? because reading that comment of yours seems to be hinting at that. The only reason iv kept tabs on this story is to see what the ML would do, but every decision he made is utterly disappointing.

Oh well, this is just a story. Well... For some sort, i do agree dislike about the rapist, BUT if it there in real life... i totally disagree. Just in case, do you know why theres so much story manhwa/manga have a plot like this? Because its interesting. Not about the rapist but the story and plot, Author give us joy, happiness, sadness all emotion in this story so we can read it and take this meaning about it. I agree tbh but there's a way to save Keith's character that could have been better than those few out of the blue action scenes. All we needed was to see a few chapters where Keith contemplated everything he ever did or said to 'Woo before that attempted sui€ide thing - we needed to see him do some self-reflecting (THAT WASN'T FUELED BY HIS DICK NOT WORKING)& showing DISGUST for his own actions. Bc ppl are forgetting that he literally blamed Woo for tempting him & said that he himself was the cause for why he got raped - that's shitty af but we somehow never address that. Keith can change but he needs to show EMOTIONAL sympathy for what happened& personally address just how shitty he was back then.
agreed, if he showed extreme repentance for his actions then I would have enjoyed this story. Regardless of the fact that it's fiction I feel like it's undermining the after-effects of rape in the BL genre. Almost like the only way to sleep with another guy is for him to rape you....
Apparently I heard that in the original novel, Keith has his own POV that’s not given in the manhwa. And this POV clears everything up and shows us that everything we thought we knew about Keith is not the real truth. After hearing a little bit about it, I honestly feel a little different way about him and can understand his side of things a little bit. But I need to really read his side to fully understand it. BUT I AM IN NO WAY JUSTIFYING WHAT HE HAS DONE. (Because I know someone will say I am). I honestly feel like he should be in all his emotions in the situation way better than he did. Hopefully the mangaka can add it in however I heard that we only have 3 to 5 chapters left in the story so I don’t know if they’re going to add it in but it is a crucial part of the story so I think that they should but we don’t know. But I would not mind if they coparented because I think that it is a better solution and the child deserves to have both parents in their life especially as someone who had to deal with their dad being absent in jail while in elementary school because of stupid reasons. But if they end up together I think that therapy could help them work out a good relationship.
Oh, I see, but I personally think that's just bad writing. Making another side of the story to repeat it is kind of unnecessary here (especially since it's this poorly set up for that even.)- we should see Keith being 3dimensional in here too. This relationship could have worked, but smth went off the rails in the process of making the story & so we were left with what seemed to be 2 different stories Frankenstein-ed together. I agree that they should have a chance to get together happily, but for that to happen it needs to be executed we'll lol
Manwhas like these promote toxic relationships. A rapist cannot be forgiven, I mean what can the ML tell his kid that he was born out of rape and that he fell in love with his rapist? These kinds of plots almost blame the victim for it and that they should "forgive" the seme because he was in a "dark place." Why cant they show a healthy relationship where the uke leaves the toxic seme in order to self discover himself and find proper love and remain in an unpredictable relationship.
