I'm agree with the points you made except calling authprs work as a trash. The story yet to develop, plus a lot of things are not revealed. And it seems like story is slow burning and I ve read in previous comments that author hinted on Seme truly loving uke but uke not trusting Seme anymore, which makes to think something very bad happens later.
Compared to the night maze this is trash... you mustn't have read night maze to see how vastly different the writing is, even characters...this is POTN fanfiction...
So far it has been a bad fanfiction of POTN. It isn't even 10% of night maze quality. It is truly disappointing

Plus it's hard to see them as high school adults. They look in their 20s and seme in his 30s... it keeps making me laugh.
And that second lead is such an unpleasant character to read. Not an ounce of anything but psychopathic thoughts. *sigh*
I wish the characters had more depth tbh. Something is lacking here idk
