I've read bits and pieces of the light novel, and it is more about ConradxYuuri than anyone else. Conrad occupies most of Yuri's thoughts. I gave up after that.
Noo!! Don't give up on the light novels! They give Yuri so much more depth than either the manga or the anime adaptations.

If you make it to novel 15, you'll see how canon Yuuri & Wolfram are (it starts around novel 8-9). Conrad is a father figure, Conrad himself may or may not have feelings for Yuuri but Yuuri certainly doesn't have any romantic feelings for him. Yuuri and Wolfram being the canon couple is also pretty obvious in the manga, especially after chapter 100. I don't understand how people who have read the novels and manga can believe that Yuuri has a romantic interest in anyone other than Wolfram.

Yeah, but they've already reached that chapter in novel 14 where things get serious. I don't know how far along you are, but if you haven't started novel 8 yet, then novel 15 will be done by the time you get to that point. Start reading, their translation is ongoing.

I'm only at the first parts of the manga, but why does it feel as if there is more bromance between Conrad and yuuri than wolfram and yuuri. I don't get it. I love the wolfram/yuuri pairing, even though wolfram is so tsundere at times. >.<
