Bum was very likeable too. Only because this one is a confident guy you think he's better?

If you only read the first pages...While he is not innocent Bum is actually a sweet boy who didn't even want his lifetime rapist dead. It's clear Bum never wanted to hurt anyone and his behaviour is due to mental illnesses and an entire life of loneliness. Stealing and breaking into people's house are bad actions, but he only does that to feel closer to the persons he thinks he loves, not to hurt or harrass people.
In multiple parts of the story it is shown Bum only wants to be loved since he has been bullied, abused and raped for all his life. He is actually caring and compassionate and in a way he is like a child because of the abuse he endured

yeah don’t get me wrong I feel sympathy for yoonbum, but a sad backstory doesn’t make for a likeable character. I don’t blame him for anything that he did, but just because I don’t blame him doesn’t mean I have to like him. ofc everyone has their own opinions so if you like him that’s fine too, but I’m stating mine and I don’t believe he was likeable because of his obsessiveness and his questionable choices.
This mc seems obsessive and fucked up too, but yeah everyone has their opinion, i find Bum extremely likeable in both appearance and personality and I'm sure there are many people who think like me. For example, I don't find this mc likeable at the moment, only his appearance is ok because he reminds me of Bum (who is cuter imo), and I don't feel any pity or sympathy for him
this isn’t like killing stalking at all, to begin with this mc is at least likeable enough to root for.
