I do agree with you bcuz I know how it feels and why those are needed in our life as an Asian.
Though, bullying still exist in Asia but we do have people who will always stand up and fight back from those bullies (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I read in the comments that qian should just have done homeschool.... Well i think Su Ci thinks that qian is lacking social abilities that school can actually provides perfectly... Tho working a day job instead of a night job will do the same really lol
But going to highschool at 22 is not really rare in Asia... Well not in my birth country. I had classmates way older than me.. though we have baby faces and we usually don't ask each other's ages and assumed everyone is the same age.. that is why we have uniforms, wear the same shoes and all to actually teach kids that we are all the same and equal. (Bullying still happens tho) in Asia, home school doesn't really have the same credit as an actual school. The name of the school you attended will be a big step for your future. In Asia we do not get entrance exam for the school to know where is your apprehension is at, we get tested to know if we as a student is up to the school's standards. Schools actually rejected students if they fail the test and have bad moral conduct. Transferring schools are hard, not only you have to get your transcripts, you have to get a good moral certificate with the school's seal.
That is why in Asia, it is important you went into good schools. It will help you in college and get a proper job. In my birth country, school year book can be used as a form of identification. Some interviews asked for you to bring your yearbook to prove that you really went to that school. My highschool give 2 yearbook for each students, one for keepsake and one for interviews...
Here in U.S. is so easy... No diploma? There is G.E.D.
But seriously tho, Su Ci should had enrolled qian into a different school... Su Ci could be so selfish sometimes
