I actually enjoy the story. My parents are 10 years apart but they meet when my mother was 15 they got married when she was 20 it’s been 30 years.
ew... don’t stay disgusting. But honestly 5 years is not a problem at all. I think if the manga artist would have drawn the mc to look like her age (14 y.o) and act like her age (mental age), most would have noticed that it’s only 5 years and that ml might not be a pedo. But like come on half of the mc that are young again act like babies sooo. The character design from the ml looks kind of old that’s why a lot of readers thought the age difference was over 5 y even easily over 12 years. And everyone spoiling and assuring that he will wait till she is 18-19 helps a lot, as long he is not flirting with her at 16-17 year old bc at that age people easily make wrong decisions and should be able to get education and advice from non romantic interested adults, otherwise poor mc and author. Some thinks just make it hard for the readers to sympathize with them.
For me I was never into „Mc coming into the World and snatching the Ml from an innocent ex-FL“ not really into that, but lots of stories do that, it’s still unpleasant but only makes the reading experience less enjoyable, and the author showed how the end couple should be the only couple so I guess that’s it. Still kind of funny how some go the route „ex-fl being strong and independent and Mc having to cling to Ml“
almost no one i saw on this manhwa was understanding or tolerating that there are other countries where the age is different when one is considered an adult or consent. most people agree that mc and the Ml together are not ok at all.
