i originally though that he would choose marie as the crown princess (instead of the other two candidates) after making it seem that he was going to choose rachel (or wtv the blondie is called). then, everyone would be shook and that’s it. and if anyone asked why, he’d just say because she’s the most beneficial one to the empire (and he wanted a person with marie’s qualities basically) and fljsflskfsdl
