This type of story is so annoyingly stereotyped and the author always makes it seem like the seme magically became a good guy. He didn't. He is still the same human with the same personality as before. He got frustrated because he though that he owned woojin so he decided to hunt him down. A rational person would have decided to move on after a few months. That's not true love, that's (like you said) an obsession. It sucks when people "simp" for characters like this after they "changed" because it's all fake. It's just an attitude that the character puts on in order to convince the other one to stay. Also, they made it wayyy to obvious that Taejoo was not going to be with woojin by making the boss chase after him. Not only that, but their relationship came out of nowhere. It's also frustrating when the author makes everyone have to end up with someone. Like Taejoo could've just rejected the boss because he clearly said earlier that he wasn't his type. It's so stereotypes tbh.
same problem with Kiss Me, Liar. If we had all the time establishing the toxic relationship we also also had all the time and opportunity to explain why the characters are like that. especially to the seme on why he is such an asshole.
author romanticizes the toxic relationship amd the toxic trait of the seme and you cannot tell me otherwise. i hated that scene when the woojin's friend told him that what he is feeling is love. bullshit. its just obsession and his eagerness to possess the uke. he literally wanted him for sex at the earlier part and wanted to chained him down with him. what part of that is love. he didn't even shown affection to him when they were in college. he treated the uke like a personal fuck hole. that alone is the biggest red flag. ffs woojin didn't even have a reason to act like an asshole in the first place. just like in Kiss me Liar. Keith dont even have a reason or a back story to answer why he acts that way. They are the same, they are really just an asshole from the very beginning.
I really was looking forward to a better resolution but it all went down hill. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍.
