I had some spoilers here, it was majorly about the ending and yvonne

I think its because of the brainwash that push him to do those things...i mean he literally said he should have killed yvonne at first so that FL wont suffer but yvonne got in to his head and manipulate him. I was really rooting for him!

Eclise's feelings in the end became obsessed and scary that to the point he ruined the life of our FL because he wants her only by himself. He was imprisoned by the duke and abandoned by our lady and got manipulated by the villainess and then he dies by saving the FL at the end told her he loved her till his last breath.....
It was very heartbreaking to read i cried (┳Д┳) he just wanted to be loved by her ╥﹏╥
