Maybe it has something to do with the curse. you know, zero cursed is that the person he love will dissapear right? maybe she wanted to prove to zero that she won't dissapear...but this is just a speculation
i think the it is possible that her confession is more about her liking him as a friend? that you u can love and like people without losing them, that there is more than one type of like in the world.

what the hell just happened 12 guys and one girl who just suddenly confessed but in the manga it shows no edivence that she likes him and that's sconfessed was fucked up
