ok, so in the past the same prophesy was fortold. ONE woman of the parvis family will hold spirit powers yada yada. the same situation happened, the "Original daughter" was a late bloomer and when her younger sister manifested her powers and the original daughter didnt. everybody neglected her. then one night while making contact with the younger sister, she too could see the spirits signaling that she had awakened but it was really just the younger sister giving her powers through contact (Or so we've been told).

fast forward to the future. Kierra isnt manafesting her powers that lay dorment within her just like the past "original sister" and Cosette is someone claiming to be her sister (we dont know if she is or not for now) but Cosette somehow showed everybody she awakened her spirit powers before Kierra. (Only parvis women can have spirit powers btw) so kierra gets executed bla bla bla

I'm not good with explaining things but I hope you weren't tooo confused by my explanation
