He was there. When she was locked up in a jail or something he ran over and wanted to help her to escape. But, she wanted to prove that she manifested that water spirits ability so, she stayed there.
Then, Cosette appeared and touched her hands and somehow that ability got transferred to her. The mc was executed.
So that's what happened, thanks for the info I didn't fully understand all of this.
Sorry to ask this, but where was the brother in her previous life. He seems to really care for her and I wouldn't think he would just let her die like that. Or am I mistaken and he didn't care about her in the previous life? Sorry my memory is so bad.
