What I'd like to happen: The MC manipulating the emperor into thinking he's starting to fall for him and slowly gain his freedom back and to start meeting with nobles that dislike the emperor along with neighboring kingdoms and secretly start a rebellion against him. Manipulate the emperor into truly thinking he truly loves him only to kill the emperor and take not only his OG Kingdom back but take the emperor's as well.
