I had the exact same thoughts... The moment I saw koushou I thought OMG is he going to form a battery with sawamura.... And I was just so over the moon when I found out that he was a catcher... Plus hopefully he can finally be the person to give miyuki a run for his money
yes indeed! I wasn't planning on there being another catcher though..that guy Kaoru and of course he seems like a little brown noser wanting to be in Furuya's pocket and it seems like there will be a rivalry between him and Koushuu. I just wonder how long it will take for any of them to make the roster since Miyuki still has a year left
Well that's what bugs me honestly idc either yui or koushou makes the roster it just that why does everyone seemingly important like yui being the world series little league captain and all seem more interested in furuya then sawamura... Plus he's in the same room as furuya so they get even more chance to be buddy buddy...
BUT sawamura here is supposed to be there MC so why is always (most of the time) in the background.... I'd just really want to see him shine more... Plus koushou kinda has eyes like before Chris senpai intitally it was that, that gave me the idea that he could be a catcher
IKR?! In the beginning it was all about Eijun..and I like that we got to know each of the characters and they showed all of their talents and what not, but the fact that this manga has the potential to go on for a loooooong time, I am a little worried that it will take a while before we get to see Eijun in action again. I mean they made it seem like he was going to be this super big thing when he first tried out and then he was just put in the background, you can't even call Furuya his rival really cause it's only about him now -__-. True since they room together it's like if something happens to Miyuki again he'll step up and it'll be the Furuya and Kaoru show ugggh. Ooooh that's a nice observation I like Koushuu more and more lol
But still I just really want sawamura to shine more and be the true ace..... Cause my heart totally broke when sawamura went took the dirt from the bullpen.... The face he was making as well during the furuya/hongou showdown..... It just broke my heart soo much so I just want someone (most preferably koushou) to bring out the real ace pitcher in sawamura like Chris senpai did.... I don't want experience heartbreak anymore ╥﹏╥
I'm with you! I don't want Eijun to just be a gag relief anymore and I'm sure that he can outdo Furuya and it just needs to happen!!! That part was sad..I was like nooo don't take the dirt!! ='( but it's cool if this is the start to his awesomeness being revealed then I'm all for it.
Yea if his awesome ness is revealed in continuation and not like whats been happening till now like one really freaking awesome sawamura moment and that is follwed by even more moments in which furuya shines....
When they first showed Koushuu and we learned he was a catcher I already knew I wanted him to form a battery w/ Eijun. Idk I feel like they're going to be something bad in a good way. Waiting for Eijun to be the center of attention again is just (╯°Д °)╯╧╧.. and gosh am I the only one who loves Little Tetsu who's actually bigger than Big Tetsu? lol
