nah it's love, he just has a hard time expressing how he feels and acts sadistic. You can really see him soften up his expression in certain panels of chapter 8 & 8.5 which you don't see in the beginning chapters. Also since the manga has brought up marking and raising a family. It could be inferred that they're relationship will reach those points, otherwise why bring it up? :D

This story is reaaalllllyyyy great... I love it buutt as chap 8.5 where they had sex Kotani's expressions doesn't insinuate love at all, what i interpret his expression is 'just sex'... And its hurting my heart... i need someone to convince me its not like that
