I think both the moms may have been innocent to start with and heck if things had been normal, real Cosette may have been a good girl with a nice mother but because the shitty dad and their politics, he watched the wife he liked more get caught in the two wive's family struggle and ousted out on her own because keira's family wanted her out of the competition.
