when i first started reading, because the prince is buffy, tall and big, i thought there was no way the author would create a bigger the top. im 10 chapters through it and sadly i was wrong. they still did it. i was hoping the top wold be smaller or at least with the same body proportions. the prince is so huge already, the author really needed that height difference to make them look good??? when they are together now the prince only looks small and frail.

I think the author wanted to portray that Nuah was a wolf spirit so when he turns into his human form he’s both very tall and very muscular due to his animal form. Also we don’t know what kind of wolf Nuah is but I think he could be a mackenzie valley wolf depending on what region this takes place in. (Click on the link it shows a wolf standing on it’s hind legs and a few size charts of wolves next to humans) https://www.walpaperlist.com/2020/01/wolves-size-compared-to-humans.html?m=1

That’s just my theory. Anyway, did you ever consider that the editors might have wanted the height difference?

Uh.. I don’t think that’s it. They try to keep in mind what the fans might want and tell that to the authors. Publishing companies are slaves to manga fans after the first manga is released and the authors have are slaves to those slaves. But the editors of larger publishing companies tend to not be in touch with the younger generation and don’t understand what we like. However: in newer manga/manhwa/manhua you’re gonna see a slightly bigger variety in height and muscle differences due to everyone knowing it’s a far more progressive world than it was ten to twenty years ago and height shaming is more looked down upon than it was years ago. Also did you know that Bara is mostly made by and directed at gay men?
