If MC based "Hansol" off of that student he passed by in the hallways towards the end.. Was "Kwon" based off of his dad?

Nvm, I think it's more likely that Kwon already moved with his Uncle.

Wait I'm confused, so he was never friends with Kwon and Hansol? it was in his imagination? where odes it say that? I assumed the whole hansol thing at the end is when he comes back from his mums and cuts everyone off?

I don't really know, but I'm assuming because:

When we see Hansol, Kwon, and MC running to get icecream, that scene suddenly transition to MC seeing the giant Ant (in other scenes where it seems too good to be true, the ant would show up), then we see Kwon vanishing into thin air while Hansol is walking away with 2 other supposedly new friends (Hansol is female, the other 2 is male I think based on the school uniforms)

So if you look at the next scene where it shows Hansol again, I think it's completely someone else and not the Hansol that MC saw (Hansol is seemingly male, the other 2 are female, again their school uniforms).

For Kwon, I just think he left with his uncle a long time ago and never actually became friends with MC.

After that I think in MC's final moments, he wanted to imagine a happy ending: His father apologizing, not having to worry about perfect scores anymore, having friends

But afterward, MC is forced to accept the reality that he never became friends with anyone, and his father never changed his ways (death can cause truths to unfold)

This is just what I think, feel free to ask or discuss a different idea!

Ah I see, thats a really good theory, but I don't want to accept the fact he never made friends in his life before he died... I think I'm just super upset that it ended the way it did. I assumed that when he came back from his mother's, he didn't regain his friendships with the other 2 and then committed suicide because his trust has been completely shattered. I just thought Hansol got a haircut in that time lol
