Hye sung was a kid at the time his mother left, and we have never seen him having proper conversation with his father due to bad relationships between them since early childhood as hye sung recalls. Probably some details has been distorted in hye sung imagination about his mother. Things like this happens in real life too. It is good that author is showing proper explanation from father's side even it is in such circumstances. But we have seen him having his other two children at the restaurant playing around at earlier chapters , they didn't seem as abused kids so means father may not be as villainous as it seemed and may have done mistakes on upbringing Hye sung as most parents do. I'm not taking father's side but hoping author brought this case to show case the bad sides of parental irresponsibilities and how miscommunication can even traumatize one's mind. I hope hye sung's father actually was not that bad person and hopefully he is feeling guilty for at least not explaining everything clearly to his son from the start.
Wasn’t his mother getting abuse and forced to sleep with his dads business partners because she is an omega thats why she ran away and his father said he would have been of more use if he was an omega so hye-sung ran away due to fear
