I'm pretty tired of the "can we stop normalising rape" bunch - nobody's doing that, FFS
Actually just the existence of works like this DOES normalize it. Rape is always traumatic. And there's no good reason to have rape be the start of a manga about a healthy relationship. I'm so sick of it.
I see so many people who, because of manga like this, believe that rape isn't always traumatic. So just because you understand that real life is different doesnt mean others do. Also, it's honestly just offensive to all of the survivors in the world to write a manga that romanticizes rape. stop supporting it.
