In alot of Asian language "I gave birth to him/you" can be said by a man or women, as they both made that child. So not really a mistranslation, but more like when different languages have different meaning for words. This line doesn't make sense in English context.

Well, I'm asian. In my country, "i gave birth to him/you" can only be said by a woman. So that's why i said its a mistranslation, in English context, it also doesn't make sense, which also i told that its a mistranslation. But maybe your right from other asian country. I don't know that sorry.
