His father is obviously lying. We saw Hyesung's falshbacks of the past and we clearly saw that his father absued and make money out of his wife's body. He gave her to some Alpha to sleep with. He was lying too when he said he didn't gave up Hyesung. He did gave him up by putting Hyesung in his grandma's custody when he remarried. He only showed up again at the funeral. He is the reason too why Hyesung dropped out of school and his ability wasn't enhanced. He made Hyesung think that his only purpose was to a "whore" just like her mother but unfortunately he's an omega. Hyesung was afraid to be notice because if he did his father's attention will focus to him and might do things that he did to his mother. Who wouldn't run away? He remarried to a rich Omega why didn't he look for Hyesung?
