If you carefully look at how he talks he is a psychopath (￣∇￣") he’s wanting to isolate Selena so that no one can touch her and he wants to kill everyone that goes near her. He isn’t pure at all. He’s being abusive. If you don’t believe me try to look for spoilers. He’s not the best type of guy in this story. Quite the opposite.
