I love this, I love all of it.
I completely agree, especially with the topic neglect. I hate that there always comes a time in the story when someone reveals that the neglectful character loves the MC and the MC is meant to forget all the trauma they went through and forgive the character asap.
And as much as I love reincarnation stories I don't like that the MC/authors can sweep the trauma of the origanal owner of the body away with just humiliating the abuser when trauma especially childhood trauma (intentional or not)would have affected the original owners personality and decisions forever with or without revenge.
But I'm going to go read another villainess story now because I love them
happy reading
The way I can’t stand any of the men. They’re all so fucking self-entitled. First of all I hate the trope of the father who treats his daughter like shit but secretly loves her and then starts being nice to her out of nowhere. It’s literally so fucking stupid. If you’re gonna act like a shit father than you might as well stick to it till you die, rather than pretending to be a good father all of a sudden. It’s not even like he can use the excuse of not wanting people to know she’s his weakness because clearly everyone already knows so what’s the point of neglecting her for 18 years? And the fact that the reason he stopped ignoring her was because she broke up with her shitty boyfriend? Very dumb.
Secondly, I also hate the dumb ass trope of ml who is loved by fl but also neglects her and doesn’t show her any affection but then gets mad when she stops loving him. Like oh yeah let me treat this girl like shit that’ll definitely make her stay. Then they get mad when the fl moves on with her life like please what on earth were you expecting you pathetic piece of shit.
Then lastly I don’t even know what it is but Max’s whole attitude pisses me off. When he was gonna kill her to free the duke of his chains or what ever? Absolutely not. Cut that shit out immediately. I don’t know who gave him the chest to think he has the right to do that. Not only that but did he think the duke would be grateful that he killed his daughter? The one thing he supposedly treats preciously (no he doesn’t)?
The only one I can stand is the cousin with the green hair that gossips. I think the thing that irritates me the most is when characters are shit people but don’t acknowledge it. The snake cousin knows he’s a shit stirrer and he doesn’t try to hide it. I respect that.
In conclusion all the men so far have the tiniest little pea brains I’ve ever witnessed so far they’re literally a mix of all the most irritating cliches to ever exist.
