I dropped "beware of the brothers" immediately after knowing FL will end up with her adoptive oldest brother, the story still had no romance when i left (both FL and ML are still kids and act like normal siblings but i just can't read it anymore after hearing the spoiler that they will be a couple), and i don't go so far calling the adoptive siblings romance is gross, i just feel kinda uncomfortable, but here you are fully knowing something gross will happen and still continue reading

tita, as a CHILD, crushing on an ADULT woman is different than a whole ass romance between the two. there's a difference between a child having an innocent crush and a grown woman reciprocating a relationship with a child she has practically raised. i don't think it's rare for children with abandonment issues to have a crush on the first person who gives them love/a stable authority figure.
