Same when i saw him give her the dagger and say "Endure it" instead of " End it" or something like that i knew that it was something to protect herself with but she misunderstood and killed herself

yup he gave it to her to defend herself and sent the black hair guy to save her from the prison but she thought he was going to torture her so she killed herself. When the father found out he went crazy and killed everyone :(
omg that's so sad : ( ngl i cant blame anyone but mikhail and the emperor for insisting to imprison juvelian T.T but its kinda suspicious about who really poisoned the princess and is trying to make all people blame juvel since she's the only one who has motive to do anything huhu

i feel like the father didn't intended for juvelian to die on the original story. When he said "Endure it" and gave her a dagger (which is blue, the color that represents their family) he's probably doing something to save her and just have to wait for the right time. Also the prince I think he's about to save her on torture room since the duke is a comoanion of his. I really wanna see their POV and how heartbroken must be the duke when he learned of juvel's death
