I'm sorry but the dad is not a very good parent

Well ya. He is. But if you look at it in a different POV. He just sucks at being a parent. He can't express his feelings to her, that it comes off as blunt and uninterested. So far, they have been showing him as a dotting father, who will be the last boss that the ML have to face in the end. Lol
