yeahh its probably a misunderstanding. her father said "endure it" which i think means she should hang in there for awhile til he comes save her or sumn (bc hes probably doing things like convincing the king to take her out of there or sumn) and also bc theres some sort of scheme behind the crowned prince and her father maybe they were waiting for the perfect moment that hes crowned as king of the kingdom til they can save her and maybe the crowned prince came in there to save her but she killed herself instead shshshs

Yes, you are exactly right about the whole thing, his father pretended to not care about her so the emperor wouldn’t give her importance, he has always treasured her, the sword was to protect herself, apparently that message was hidden by the sword having the family colors, and yes the prince was there to save her.
