I'm surprised to see the word penultimate because I only recently learned that word in college
I've liked that word for ages, it's just so rare I can use it accurately cuz when the heck does one usually need to reference the 2nd to last of ANYTHING lol~
still, I'm happy you were pleasantly surprised~
His name is Brian if anyone cares. He's just called "Howth's Dad" for most of the series (even by his wife whereas she's named Lilian from the get-go!) It states in the penultimate chapter that his name is Brian.
