I think that the crown prince never intented to turtore our female lead. I read it again and the solder were warning him that the emporer didnt allow him to go to the female lead in the beginning.

And since she is the daughter of his Idol, I think he would have consulted the fl father first. Or maybe the father told him to help her to get out of there and thats why he said to her: "Endure it." Because help is om the way.

When she asked the crown prince what he and her father talk about usually. You could see that the father brags abojt her all the time to him and that was before she was transmitted.

I am not excusing the fathers neglect but it seems to be more complicated than it seemed at first.
