It does sound like a shitty mentality... But I can't help but feel bad for people who have been in these type of situstions, with no one to count on or having no reason to live other than being a parent... If they are trying their best to be a parent and the child seems happy and well taken csre of, it is in some way ok to me... There are no perfect families but I understand what you mean
I know. I understand that there are situations that are way out of our control, but it doesn't excuse us for being a shitty person. If only he tried to opened up or receive such help, he wouldnt need a child to heal him. Oh well. This is just fiction. But it sure does happen in real life too

What a shitty mentality. You shouldn't have a child if that's your reasoning. You can't just drag a living person into your own selfish needs, as well as implicating another one and hiding the fact that he's a father
