Before spoiling what happened you have to know that the Emperor has a ring that can control him, which is why he cannot really disobey the Emeperor's orders or his daughter might be in danger (like the emperor might order him to kill his daughter and he would have to comply since he is controlled by the ring).
When Regis (Dad) saw his daughter dead body, he became crazy and went berserk killing everyone and destroying everything. The emperor tried to use the ring on him to stop him but because his mental state was completely destoyed it didn’t work on Regis and he killed Emperor too. It was a bloodbath. later it showed how Regis looked at the crown and said that it doesn’t mean anything if it’s not Juvellian who is wearing it.
Wow... that's really sad and depressing, hopefully this time it will be a happy ending for both ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I wonder how the dad reacted in the original timeline when he heard that his daughter kill herself. Since he probs loved her alot in the old timeline. I feel like when the crown prince went to see her it wasn't to kill her rather save her/get her out. Idkkk tho
