I think that has to do with how their generation was raised. It's obvious that our parents didn't grow up communicating with theirs so they do the same to their children however we see the wrong side of lack of communication so I think it's our duty to raise our children not how we were raised but what we think we lacked while growing up. If you ask me I already gave up expecting some stuff to change
So act like they are toddlers who are unable to understand some concepts and you'll feel better. They can't help it you can explain colors to a blind person as much as you want but they'll never truly grasp what they are.
