It's just a manga y'all but this is giving me the realities of life.

Wow. This is so beautiful. This is the first time I've encountered a shonen manga who talks about the realistic circumstances of families.
I'm just proud of Shoto's breakthrough from his past and wants to save his family despite of what he had sufferered from his past experiences.

I'd like to give emphasis in what Hawks had realized and said in this chapter. He himself was not indifferent from what the Todoroki's are experiencing right now, Hawks chose to abandon his family at that time and I believe it's not a bad choice (from seeing his past) but there is still a feeling of regret left at him, as he sees himself to Shoto's desicion as of now that could've save his family back then, as how Shoto's effort had changed his family's attitude especially on Endeavor's side. His father saw Todoroki's dedication different from what he wants for his own desires and on latter then he only realized that all this time he was eaten by his greed and desire that puts his family in agony.I am beyond grateful to see a perspective such as this.

You know it's not too late to let people see that they've rooms to change and improve so you can forgive them and their past selves. It's not wrong to forgive especially when you see a person's effort to really have a change of heart. It's not easy and immediately can be done but if you don't take that opportunity it's gonna be your loss. Time passes by if you have time to change and to help someone change for the better, then do so. I believe in these things that makes people so beautiful. It's the change of heart you see that makes people beautiful than what they are before, It doesn't matter if it's because they had done something bad before or just want a change of heart for the better. But you see these things are the things that makes life wonderful. To see that there are hope for people to be better.
There's no loss in believing for greater good and that includes in forgiving someone. Forgiveness doesn't have to be taken as "to forgive someone, there needs to be a punishment" No, forgiveness is more like giving hope and trust that somebody can change.

So if you think that Endeavor doesn't deserve forgiveness, it's your own opinion and I respect it. But this is my point of view and at the end of all the Todoroki's family matters. This is what I want to believe.

It's not about him deserving forgiveness from his family or not. They can forgive him if he wants to be a better person, it's okay.
But the reason people are against him is because Touya's situation is still ongoing. We all see that his future goes in two ways, or he die or he finish in prison. This future is the consequences of his family's behavior.
