I saw thoses on Lumiere. I don't really like the brother now and even reading the spoiler for him I find him annoying...
Oh I didn't saw this. But still dislike how Yustav behave right now. I dislike how the shadows didn't recognize Ran as head, even if she doesn't have the blood, she is still the head.
I don't find it bad. Because she still have people on her side like the butler, the head maid. She's got support. So it's only right that he gets his own support too. After all, we are reading it to see two powerful people getting in a relationship and making the name of the family bigger. If one of them didn't have their own support, there would be no point in continuing this story.
I find the balance unfair. He has the power to se each of her move. The only things we saw of him was violence and lack of trust to her sister. And they ARE brother and sister, Idk why they think no , they don't share blood but share the same name.
She is literally saving his territory by paying debt and establishing commerce
Do you really think the power is unbalanced? I mean, all the commercial partners are on side with FL. All the things she did for the house are her merits, not his. So all those people who helped and worked with her are siding with her. She is a big opponent and has important support. Elves and dwarves are siding with her. Same with the ducal army (not the shadow one), the maid service and the keeper of the house which is the butler.
I don't think that the power is unbalanced. In many ways, I can see that his power is actually weaker than Ran's. So if it were unbalanced, Ran would be the stronger there.
Both of them have a field in which they are necessary to the house. Ran manage business and is a queen at that. Without her, the duchy would still be in debt while they are now filthy rich. The whole financial situation is kept by her so if she was disregarded, the whole house could lose its feet.
Yustav manage the army and help within the shadow (becaus he cannot be in the spotlight right now). It's his job. Ran couldn't manage everything so it's only a given that the army should be given to Yustav, since it was his major study in academy.
Anyway, all of that to say that their power is well balanced. Both are needed to keep to duchy from falling. They are the two pillars. If one was killed, the other will be in a disastrous situation to rebuild the whole machine.
And the people who support each of them are important because they can distinguish them as equal.
I don't really feel most sind with here, they tolerate her as replacement. At the end, it's not really something that bother me, it's how he use Shadow to see each of her move. That is what makes me made as hell. She IS the head for the moment.
In the process, yes, this was totally wrong of him. Be it obsessive impulse or distrust. Anyway, let's just wait and see. Maybe we could get his real intention that no one here can imagine.
I really dislike lier like him. And WTF. Who are you to monitor your sister. Even if it's only until you're 20 yo, she's the head. I was already mad by the behavior of the shadows who didn't present themselves to the head.
