For me, Harada leaves me absolutely breathless. Every single story is gritty and genius.
The rape scene was part of the character’s development and apparently Harada thought it was necessary enough to include it.............
It seems like so many people are shocked after they read something written by Harada or wish Harada would not include issues that make them uncomfortable.......Harada is Harada.......
Anyways, I loved this a million times over.
same, this is one of my favorite works for her despite how cruel their relationship can get they still love each other in their own way, it might've been not normal for most people but for me i get her works and they hit home<3
I get it too. For me, I can relate to Harada’s stories and it’s comforting and always refreshing to see the inner workings of the human mind and heart served up honestly.
i'm sorry but you can't be unaware of how gruesome harada works can get, it's not for everyone.
harada likes to torture her characters with the worst ways possible to make you feel empathy for them despite them being trash themselves.seme and his friends used to drug and rape girls but we still saw him as trashy, but when he got raped we started feeling empathetic with him ,she also has her ways of showing you how toxic a relationship can get and how the characters see it as if it's normal,thats what makes her work special for me.
