this story was in my “to read” for months and i finally read it and FUCK...this is one of the most amazing stories i’ve read. it made me cry my eyes out both in sadness and joy. it made me want to jump into the book and strangle ppl. and it made me laugh so much.
this story was so beautiful. the way it portrayed issues of racism and homophobia was so well done. this was definitely a more serious story than most i’ve read so it took me a bit to get through it (mainly not wanting to cry in public) but i’m so happy i read it
