I could definitely blame her because the story basically shows her being a bit open and flustered. If she even bothered talking to the father she’d actually see his affection for him. But no?? She just doesn’t talk at all. Sure if you’re scared you might not, but with her personality, assuming things doesn’t fit her character - especially since she’s all open to max when he’s her father’s disciple. Shouldn’t she be scared of him too?
She DID try to talk to him for 15 years and he ignored her all the time. We can't blame her that she gave up. Ignoring your child like that is another form of child abuse. They can't know what's on your mind if you don't tell -even if you love them more than anything.

God I really loved how this started out but the main character being so obsessively scared about the dad is starting to get on my nerves. It makes sense, but they’re literally one convo away from an understanding. I wish Max told her straight up: he’d only brag about u. And have a convo abt it /: they’re skirted past the actual topic so many times and the hoops the main character has to go through is actually insane. You can excuse it for paranoia but he literally said “ENDURE IT” the last thing Max said to her was “NO”. If she had reincarnated, it’d make sense for her to be scared, but as a reader??? Surely she scrolled through some theories :/
