In the emperor and the female knight when i realized the king was actually having regular sex with his wives in the phantom pregnancy part, I was so dissapointed in him for actually still having feelings for the FL..... and then in the comment section i read a spoiler..... I was disgusted and left the story right then.

That king has 3 daughters from his wives and one night ends up having drunken sex with FL and further ends up having a son from her.. continued hardships for FL.
Well yes it was disgusting if we see it in modern eyes for we are monogamous. I understand it well, but I as well felt not disgust but just pure dissapointment to that ML of Emperor and Female night. Anticipation for FL is she ever fall for the ML then of course she would have to deal with that baggage. Royal family in real life history is indeed messed up and scandalous.

I came from reading the Emperor and the Female Knight which has similar story. But oh boy this is better in terms of romance I can tell. FL will have a happy ending after this war is over. But both I adore the story since the other is more focus on FL gender struggles being a knight. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
