No? Going off your statement, it would be impossible for her to gain immortality from just her heritage. Her mother died, which shows that heritage doesn't prevent death. She just doesn't die unless she's forgotten, right? (please tell me if I'm wrong!)
Nah I think you got it right, but I also think she can die from other causes? Her mother was killed by her former people for having a child with an outsider so I assume she can die through normal means, but if she is healthy and isn't forgotten then she may be able to live forever just as long as she isn't murdered
I'm pretty sure that it's something like a curse where a person from the clan will die if they have a child with an outsider, so some people (like her mother) decide to do it so that they can die (since they're immortal unless they're forgotten)

Yeah my theory is she can die by being forgotten and by other causes since she's half human and half what her mom was. Or perhaps she doesn't becuase the curse doesn't affect her becuase she isn't pure blood like her mom.
I mean I do feel bad for what happened to him but how can he be so rude to someone who did nothing to him like I'm sorry she died and came back??? Tf is wrong with anything she does? She doesn't even tell anyone about you in a way she is defending you so she doesn't say anything and people don't kill you.
