2.5/5 - Tbh I was looking forward to how Jihyun developed

It hinted that Jihyun now reizes the gravitu of what he has done. But the parallel thing disimisses such a thing and it actually gives me the impression of just a feel good porn for the people who hoped that Jihyun would b with Chiwoo. And that is SUCH A SHAME.

I dislike Jihyun but I'm not blind that he could grow to become a better person. That side story is SO UNNECESSARY. the author could have given Jihyun a chance to grow away from Chiwoo. The author could have continued after Jihyun left Chiwoon for good. But they didn't. And I am frustrated that two chapters were just wasted of two people fucking, instead of giving Jihyun something more.

Kyujin and Chiwoo got their happy end because they deserved such and Chiwoo is someone who persevered despite the gried brought on by the person who he trusted and could have learned to love. And I loved the them the author showed in the series. But that side story---UGH-- I really2 despise alt endings. It erases the development that the characters have, and it only perpetuated the thought that happy emding means being together instead of learning from mistakes and grow to be a better person.

Overall 3/5 - bc of the essay above (lol) and also, the author could've elaborated more on Kyujin and Chiwoo's relationshop, such as Kyujin helping Chiwoo in becoming more comfortable with intimacy.

Even if he developed, the author already stated in the last chapter that Chiwoo wouldn't be able to forgive or forget the past and live happily ever after with Jihyun. So his development wouldn't result in Chiwoo ending up with him anyway, and I like it this way.

Yes. Chiwoo does not owe Jihyun forgiveness and the way Chiwoo eventually got over Jihyun and demoted him into a stranger is realistic and good for Chiwoo. But what I'm trying to say is that the author subverts that moral and dismisses it with the 2nd side story.

I love the series and the 1st side story, I like those. But I am frustrated that the author gave a 2nd story where the issues of forgetting and forgiving is set aside. Im frustrated because the author only spent couple of dialogues about Jihyun and Chiwoo's relationship, but spent too much time on the smut. But even if there's a smut the author couldve inserted monologues about Jihyun's regret, but it didn't. Instead, it gave us a halfhearted shtick about "I did something bad to you in my dream"-- which disregards both Chiwoo's and Jihyun's whole development in the series.

I kinda thought the author will give Jihyun his just desserts where at the end of the 2nd side story he will wake up and it will shpw that it's just a dream, but again, it didn't.
