definitely!! you explained it perfectly. in the middle there were too many fillers/chapters with no progress like whyy?? and the author KNEW they only wanted 2 seasons, or 60ish chapters, so they obviously planned ahead. i wish they would make a sequel at least
a lot of the parts in the middle were so unnecessary and couldve been used to make the ending more meaningful/deeper in my opinion. it felt so rushed and almost empty and i feel like they couldve taken the time to expand (?) the ending more instead of meaningless fillers hh although this kind of story is not very easy to write so i dont blame them
i feel like the author dragged it out as much as they could in the middle and then near the end just rushed it all. from what i see i think woohyun loved her but expressed it in a twisted way and due to abuse, felt that controlling her was the only way he could feel reassured and secured about it hh
