im pretty sure the dad loved her but just doesnt know how to show it.since in chapter 17(?) when juvel asked max what does he usually talks about with her father ,he thought about how the dad kept bragging about his daughter to him right?and also when she fainted, he didnt want to lose her as she is the only person he has left. so i think in her past life(?) the dad gave her the dagger to protect herself and when max came he wanted to get her out maybe? because the dad and max plan was to take out the emperor,so they took out the princess:the emperors child who he loved

I still dislike the dad, like why the sudden change, when she broke up with Mikhail. And why suddenly being a simp, when he neglected her all those years (especially in the past life). Waiting for big redemption and not the kind: papa got hurt instead of daughter, now I know he really cares for me. I want apology and explanation.
I am fine with Max tho. in the past life, it doesn't look like to me, he wanted to torture (that was "just" his reputation) her. But because Max was her father's pupil, I guess he was told to save her or sum. I haven't read the novel, so idk any spoilers.

Naw I was talking about this current max. He wanted to kill her twice cuz he thought she was her dads weakness...and physically threw her down a few times and bruised half her body
Soo the male leads are 1:dad who neglects daughter her whole life causikg great trauma and 2:max who wanted to kill her and physically assaulted her multiple times until she bruised.....aight
