can we move on from this whole tsundere seme that rapes the uke please? can't we romanticise communication and consent for once?

To be fair the uke did push himself onto the Duke... Whether or not he thought it was a dream he still did that

    You are victim blaming

How?? They're just pointing out that he sexually harassed the duke as well... Him "thinking he's dreaming" doesn't make it occur

The person is pointing out both-sides of rapes view. It's not victim blaming, it's on the story and it happened twice. If people are calling out the Duke for forcing himself on Jace then people also needs to call out Jace for drunklingly forcing himself on the Duke twice.
Rape is rape regardless of the event or actions that's taken, the hypocrisy on people is real. Smh.

You're not wrong but the duke could've handled it differently he didn't have to rape him back

Oh sorry I didn't read your comment incorrectly. I thought you meant he deserves to get assaulted.

Sorry for the confusion I only meant that the uke did the same thing. They both forced sexual activities on the other. Just because the Seme went along with a drink uke doesn't make it okay. If you remember he wasn't into it until he was getting a bj. It made the duke uncomfortable, and it was harassment even if the duke has feelings for the uke now. The uke did not deserve the forced sex, but nether did the duke thats all. If we are really upset about the use of rape as a point in yaoi we should talk about both cases and not just when the Seme does it.

I understand you full heartedly. I'm tired that rape and sexual assault is commonly used in romance mangas
