He was being “nice” on a very surface level. He’s done that before- like when he told Nakyum he likes him. But that, in my opinion, is completely overshadowed by what he does next, which is to tell Nakyum’s noona to leave or he will have her killed. Of course Nakyum doesn’t know about this so he doesn’t realise that Seungho is isolating him from the only person who cares about his well-being. Therefore, that short scene where Seungho gives Nakyum a scarf and allows him to see Noona off, to me, is not character development (although I did find it sweet until I read the rest of the chapter). Until I see Seungho do something purely for Nakyum’s sake (and not just some manipulative ploy to keep him by his side) I don’t think I can believe that he’s changed (in a positive way at least). However, that is my opinion, feel free to disagree I just thought I should explain my view
Seugho: *prevents Na-Kyum from ever seeing his sister again by threatening to murder her if she comes back, showing that he more ever wants to isolate Na-Kyum from everyone he cares about*
Daft readers: is this character development?! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ uWu
