Frustrating

This comic is soooooooo frustrating!!!!
Like omg, more than half of their problems would be solved if they actually COMMUNICATED. Especially Nocton!!! He’s been leaving her in the dark and confusing her since they were kids, never telling her the truth or explaining the reason behind his rude actions.
And then he’s surprised when she starts to doubt him more and more???? Oh, idk, maybe she wouldn’t have trouble trusting you if yOU TRUSTED HER WITH THE TRUTH A LONG TIME AGO?!!!!! If you’re not gonna explain poop to her, then often treat her coldly and give her reasons to doubt you even see her as a friend- don’t act like it’s crazy that she’d believe you were using her from the start. Your behavior is confusing and you’ve never tried to get explain why, of course she’s lost.

there's actually an even bigger reason this misunderstanding isnt being solved i'll spoil it below, open at ur own risk:

duroa actually forgot her memories. nocton and duroa fell in love but since she forgot them, hes the only one who remembers. the reason she forgot them is the nocton's mother. the potion or whatever duroa drank was from his mother. Its frustrating because she doesnt trust him and he doesnt even explain properly. both are at fault.

how could they "fall in love" as young children? also that's no excuse for him brainwashing her and never once giving her an explanation for why he would always throw away her stuff, or for why he would literally torture people mentally because at least he's not killing them. he's an objectively flawed person.

no no not as children but while they were growing up. she has a lot of gaps in her memories. us readers, dont know that yet and he never brainwashed her (she just thinks he did). but yes, i agree about the part where he didnt explain anything

didn't he also think he brainwashed her though? that's why he was rude to her, because he wanted to act out because he felt as if her feelings weren't real, and why he always refused to call her her first name. the first few chapters were all about him acting as if he brainwashed her.

I think it was to call duroa by her first name triggers the brainwashing power, that's why he avoids calling her by her first name.
    Probably. ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭
