I think he just felt really lonely you’d be surprised how much this happens in real life sometimes you feel so unloved that the only option you can’t think of is to grow someone who will love you and you will love them. And the uncle I think they’ll explain it eventually I wanna know too
ah that tidies it up a little. he was too emotionally fragile at the time to risk the tiny possibility of rejection and went with the next best thing.
How jumbled up inside must you be to have been physically abused by your dad, have him die on you without any other family and leave you with debts. You have to sell your home, and the moment your friend that represnts light and love in your head goes into a rut, you think ah make a baby to love me. When the more obvious solution was to tell said friend what was up and move in with him (esp since his mum already adored u).
And where did this uncle come from? or was his dad also keeping him from knowing the rest of his family so he'd always have a living, dependent punching bag on hand?
