... the bigotry, anti hetero-normality, and libel (due to poor comprehension skills on your part) just makes my skin crawl. A little bit is okay, I get it, but the excessive amounts in your comment made it hard for me to not utterly despise every sentence you typed. This is listed as a response, and I'll admit you are entitled to creating a response based on your own opinion, however, that doesn't excuse the ignorant and obnoxiously unrefined remarks you made. I couldn't enjoy a comment section filled with insecurities and hatefulness. Even the body paragraph consisted of baseless complaints, resulting in a mere reflection of the original poster's life. In other words, Mameiha failed to appreciate the beauty of this novel solely because s/he is no where near as "accepting" of people's differences as s/he claims. Mameiha's comment is shameful, hypocritical, contradicting and honestly just overall leaves a terribly awful taste in my mouth.
... the bigotry, homophobia and "men belong with women" just makes my skin crawl. A little bit is okay, I get it, but the excessive amounts in this manga made it hard for me not to utterly despise every character who wasn't gay. This is listed as comedy, and I'll admit to a few funny moments, however, none of them were "homophobia based". I just couldn't enjoy a love story surrounded by so much hatefulness. Even the openly gay character is portrayed as selfish, easy and sadistic after he was turned down. All of this overshadowed the story of a young man coming to terms with his love for another man. Maybe it's because I've always been accepting of my, and others, sexual preferences, but I just can't find this manga - or it's other story - funny or entertaining. It actually leaves a really bad tase in my mouth.
