I just came here to ask

okay so I've been reading this for a while now and since the movie came out everyones been hating on akihiko...
Am I the only one who genuinely doesn't understand why so much hate?
Like I know he hurt Haruki and ugetsu, but ugetsu also hurt him on purpose and after everything that happened he apologized to Haruki and didn't pressure him for a relationship Haruki was the one who accepted him back...
yes he slept around, but that was to cope with the fact that ugetsu was doing the same(ugetsu was the one who started doing it first) and he hated ugetsu for it (even if he also loved him at the same time)
I just don't understand?? did he do something so bad to deserve such hate? I just want to know
so if there's someone here who hates him pls explain to me why bc for me his actions its not that they are justified but make sense according to what he was feeling at the time
